Our award-winning Wilston stylists are known as the best in the business and have had more than a few backstage experiences of their own, all over the world. Here we highlight a few of the standout hair trends of the week. When it comes to the best hairstyles Brisbane- Craig and the Fruition team know their stuff!
Luxe Boho
The Alice + Olivia show captured pretty much all the hair attention, thus was people’s love for the stunning luxe boho looks which were created. The feminine, festival loving ladies in all of us were obsessed with these timeless looks. There were several looks created for the show, meaning something for almost everyone. One featured reverse French braising embellished with pearls and diamonds, while another had a whimsical lavender filled, plaited flower crown delicately knotted at the back.
Intense Curls
There was a variety of curls on show demonstrating the versatility of this basic style. We loved the voluptuous brushed out curls on one of the lucky models at Oscar de la Renta. Each of the models featured different styles, from poker straight and sleek through to subtle cornrows and pulled back ponys, but it was this style that has us obsessed! With their relaxed elegance- these curls work just as well for day or night. They are more blown out than sleek which gives them a little bit of an edge off traditional waves and make them a little more fun.
80’s Glam
Definitely the most fun of all the trends, the 80’s are back! Jeremy Scott for the win with his outrageously fun take on “neon rock opera”, featuring fluro high ponytails and chopped, shaggy styles. Think Jem and the Holograms! Obviously these looks were created using wigs, but we love the inspiration to try a fun new colour and not take ourselves so seriously.
