While most of us had our eyes on the runways, some of the coolest trends and looks were taking place out on the streets and at the after parties. With New York, London, Paris and Milan filled to the brim with models and celebrities, the people watching was at it’s most epic. The belles of the ball? Undoubtedly Bella Hadid and Kendal Jenner. Spotted all over town looking like they just walked off the runway, these girls were having the time of their life. Here we break down two of their stand out looks and explain how you can get them with a little help from a couple of our fave Kerastase and Shue Uemura products.
Our award-winning team at our Wilston salon, the best salon near you, can easily recreate these looks the next time you are heading out for that special occasion, so screen shot your favourite and let us work our magic!
Bella Hadid
We are obsessed with this look on Bella. It is the epitome of luxurious glamour- something we are all about creating here at Fruition. To recreate this look;
Prep damp hair with Kerastase Bouffante Mousse.
Blow dry straight, blowing hair up and out, while facing down the hair shaft to maximise shine.
Take the front section of hair and split into a just off centre part. Pull the smaller side back tightly and pin behind the ear. Take the other side and sweep across the forehead to create a sleek fringe and pin behind other ear. These pieces create a headband effect.
Curl the ends of the rest of the hair under using a wide barrel curling tong to create a bobbed curl.
Kendall Jenner
Kendall always adds a bit of edge to her look and we love that this updo still looks relaxed and textured. To recreate this look;
Prep damp hair with Shu Uemura Kaze Wave Foam.
Add as much body and volume to hair as possible while blowdrying by using a diffuser.
Curl random pieces throughout using a curler or straightener, using different size sections as you go.
Pull hair up and softly twist into a chignon at the centre of the back of the head. Use bobby pins to pin in place. Make sure the chignon is kept loose to maintain the volume. Pull forward a few soft pieces to frame the face and then set the look with Kerastase Laque Couture.
