Fruition Finds Its Tokyo Muse

MuseWe couldn’t be prouder to announce that Fruition’s very own mini muse Cara Mio Robinson has stormed her way into the final five of a debut national competition.

After four years of successful competition in Europe, for the first time in Australia this year Shu Uemura Art of Hair has launched the MUSE IMAGE AWARDS, a national styling competition which celebrates the complexity of craftsmanship and creativity of the hairstylist.

The competition was open to hairstylists of all experience levels, to push their artistic limits and create their very own work of art. The 2016 theme was ‘Tokyo Vibe’ which allowed our half-Japanese Cara to quite literally show the judges what she is made of.

Representing our Wilston hair salon, Cara is one of only five lucky finalists, and the only Queenslander to be selected to the next stage, which consists of a 2-day professional photoshoot in Melbourne, where she will be mentored by a renowned industry expert to recreate her winning muse look. The overall winner will be chosen a panel of hair-industry experts and will have the chance to win a 10-page photo spread in Instyle magazine.

Cara will be headed down to Melbourne on 11th and 12th August where she’s up against some stiff competition so if you see her before then, don’t forget to wish her luck!
