It’s Emmy’s time again! It’s just the like the Oscars, only way more fun and look, TV stars too! The Fruition team love checking out the red carpet as there are always some surprises among the home runs. Here, your award winning Wilston salon crew, break down 3 of our favourite red carpet looks.
Stranger Things fans will recognise Dacre, albeit looking decidedly less scary than his character. Inspired by an image he saw of Clark Gable, he wanted to honour the golden age of Hollywood for male stars. The combo of the slicked back hair and pencil moustache was spot on to conjure up memories of the era and gave him a debonair air that the other guys could only imagine.
In a sea of low ponytails and tumbling curls, Scarlett stood out with her adorable crop. Stylist Jenny Cho was able to make her shorter locks ultra feminine by creating textured waves to frame the face. The look featured lots of height at the crown with a pronounced quiff and then swept back off the face. Keeping it tucked behind the ears balances out the height and let’s her show off those incredible jewels.
The princess of the Emmys. For once Justin was left in Jessica’s wake as she owned the red carpet. Her hairstylist Adir Abergel went full glamour with her pre-Raphaelites inspired look. The styling here was all about soft ethereal hair that would highlight her amazing colour and shine. The centre part highlights the perfect symmetry of that face and the length was matched to her shoulder baring gown. Perfection.
While you might not have a red carpet in your future, it doesn’t mean you can’t treat yourself to an amazing style for your next night out. Updos, braids, ponytails, curls, quiffs, chignons- we can do it all!
Just pop in and see us and we will help you feel like a movie, or TV, star at Fruition.
