Curls curls curls! We seriously can’t get enough of them here at Fruition hair salon in Brisbane, and neither can Harpers Bazaar who declared that “wild curly hair is the trend everyone will be wearing in 2018”.

Whether you are blessed with natural curls or you want to try a new curly style, we have got your ringlets, kinks and waves covered. Here are our 3 Curl Commandments:

1. Care

When hair is naturally curly, it tends to be drier and thicker, as well as more prone to breakage, meaning special attention needs to be paid to hydration. In the salon we work with only the most intensive treatments which are effective on even the curliest hair, leaving your style looking fresh and vibrant. Don’t forget our take home options to keep curls in check between visits! When creating curls in salon we also place special emphasis on heat protection to ensure the extra styling involved doesn’t damage the hair.

2. Cut

Anyone with curly hair knows that the cut is crucial. It really is an art form factoring in how the cut will affect the final look of the curls and it’s something that we specialise in at Fruition. We tailor every cut to the individual, working on the hair either wet or dry depending on how we can ensure the most accurate finish. We understand that curls have their own distinct personalities and it can be tricky to get them all into line! We also recommend regular trims to keep curly ends in check.

3. Create

Finally, the curls! For our curly clients we love emphasising natural curls and making them look their best- glossy and full of life. The amazing plus to having curly hair is the incredible volume at your fingertips, it’s just a case of directing and controlling the texture. Careful consideration of your curl helps us to create your unique style, whether you want to maximise impact or tame your mane. Our goal is to make all our curly girls proud to flaunt their curls!
