FRUITION SCORES A TRIFECTA OF NOMINATIONS AT ‘A LEAGUE’ INDUSTRY AWARDS

If you are not familiar with Fruition, or perhaps you needed a little more persuasion then sit down and put the kettle on, because we have something to tell you!
It’s only February but so far this year, Fruition has certainly got the hairdressing industry talking. This month the salon has bagged THREE nominations for the Australian Hair Fashion Awards (AHFA’s), hairdressing’s biggest and most influential awards program which celebrates the creative and dynamic relationship between hair, fashion and beauty.
First cab off the rank, Fruition salon manager and local Wilston hairdresser, Amanda Menz has made the finals of Queensland Hairdresser of the Year, a category which sees her compete against five of the state’s finest stylists.
Second up, the salon’s Artistic Team has put together a stunning collection of images which has sent them squarely through to the final six in the country in the category of Artistic Team of the Year.
And last but by no means least, Fruition Owner/Director Craig Smith, a man whose calm, confident and laid back approach has given him a reputation as one of the nicest guys in the industry, has been nominated for the highest hairdressing accolade the nation has to offer – Australian Hairdresser of the Year.
Featuring hundreds of entries from the elite of the hair fashion industry in Australia, the AHFA’s are the only Australian industry awards with an international reach. In order to gain global recognition for our local Wilston hairstylists, the entries are judged in London under the watchful eyes of the crème de la crème of British and European hairdressing, so we are not only in good company in terms of who we compete against, we are in the very best company in terms of who has their eyes on what we do! We are over the moon to be putting Brisbane and the Fruition name on a global stage as well as doing us proud here in Australia.
The AHFA’s take place on 10th April in Sydney’s iconic Luna Park when all will be revealed, so keep ‘em all crossed!
