It’s been the most magical year for the whole team here at Fruition, and we will be sad to see 2019 go! The best Brisbane salon has been going from strength to strength over the past few years and we are so proud to have achieved some pretty lofty accomplishments this year. We aren’t ones to rest on our laurels, but we would like to take a moment to reflect on the year that was as we look forward to another, sure to be incredible, one. Here are just a few of our highlights.
There were plenty of literal highlights, thanks to our reputation as the best balayage Brisbane experts. We work hard at creating the most natural colours and our blonde speciality couldn’t be better suited to our summer year-round climate, leading to us getting out the paint brushes more than ever before.
Caring about the environment is important to us and we are proud to support initiatives which help make a difference. From reducing plastic use in the salon, to being mindful of water usage, we all like to play our part. Refoil are a big part of our salon thanks to their innovative recycling, leaving us all feeling much better about waste in the salon.
Craig helped out the industry by educating and inspiring the next generation, including the 2019 FAME TEAM, who Craig showed a trick or two!
We have always loved Kevin Murphy, but we are so thrilled to have Craig take on a bigger role as an ambassador for this revolutionary brand. From their unique take on recycled packaging through to their high quality products, we are just a little obsessed.
The team worked with plenty of VIPs include a fun day of styling for the Logies, helping to create stunning looks for Zoe Foster-Blake, Rebecca Maddern and Rachel Watts.
And, let’s save the best til last. Our main man. Our fearless leader. Our big boss. Mr. Craig Smith was named the 2019 AHFA Australian Hairdresser of the Year. This is the crowning accomplishment for this hard-working industry legend and the team could not have been prouder watching him up on stage accepting his award in front of the hair industry. His work speaks for itself and his ‘Enigma’ collection was loved by global hair gurus helping him take out the biggest prize of the year.
So, it’s been a big one and leaves us feeling a little nostalgic. But we are also so, so excited for what 2020 could possibly hold- we’ll see you there?
